Getting Started

New clients are required to complete the contact form and register for an account prior to scheduling services.

Once approved, clients will complete their personal and cat profiles before a meet and greet is scheduled.

This information allows Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting to fully understand your cat's needs and provide the highest level of care.

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting uses Time To Pet , a secure online platform for scheduling, communication, and billing.

This system helps ensure accurate information, clear communication, and a smooth experience for both clients and sitter.

All service requests, updates, and scheduling are handled through the client portal once an account is active. This allows care details to remain organized and easily accessible throughout your booking.

All Clients - New and Established

A 50% - non-refundable deposit is required to hold your reservation.

The remaining balance is due in full 7 days before the first day of service.

Pet Policy

No additional pet charge. Unlimited pets within the same household.

Key Pickup and Return

$40 each way

No charge if a key is provided during the meet and greet and kept on file

Meet & Greet

The meet & greet is a required initial visit and allows me to meet you and your cat(s), review care details, and ensure we are a good fit. During this visit, I will review the information in your

account, your cat's routine, feeding instructions, medications if applicable, home access, and security procedures. Of course, this is also a chance for me to get to know your cats in their home environment.

Meet & greets typically take 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the number of cats and level of care required.

At the meet & greet, one set of house keys and the required deposit are needed to move forward with services.

Meet & Greet Fees

If you’re ready to book and have confirmed service dates, your initial meet and greet is complimentary.
If you are still deciding or do not yet have dates scheduled, there is a non-refundable $40 meet & greet fee. If you later decide to book services, this fee will be credited to your account.

Please Note: If an additional visit is required after the meet and greet to collect keys or for any other reason, an additional charge will apply.

Cat Sitting

At Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting, professional in-home cat care is provided based on each cat's individual needs and routine. Visits are structured to ensure attentive, unhurried care, whether that includes feeding, litter box maintenance, medication administration, enrichment, or quiet companionship for more reserved cats.

Care may include oral medications, insulin injections, or transdermal medications, when required. All services take place in your cat's home to reduce stress and maintain familiar routines.

While visit lengths and rates are listed below, time selections are based on the level of care required. Homes with multiple cats, medical needs, or more involved routines may require longer visits to ensure care is never rushed.

Please note: Cats must be seen a minimum of once per day.

Every-other-day care is not offered.

Rates:

30-minute visit - $45

45-minute visit - $60

60-minute visit - $75

At Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting, visit length recommendations are made during the meet & greet based on your cat's individual care needs.

Holiday Rates

Holiday visits are subject to a 50% holiday surcharge (time and a half), applied to the standard visit rate. This surcharge applies to all visits scheduled on the following holidays:
