From the moment we met Shawn at our meet and greet, we knew she would be an excellent care giver for our 3 cats. I trust no one more than her! She is incredibly reliable, honest, and she loves our babies. We have a special needs cat that requires medicine twice a day, and having Shawn caring for him allows us to be away from home without so much worry.
I love her timely texts (with photos) that she sends after each visit. Her messages completely capture each cat’s distinct personality. And they always look like they are having so much fun with her!!

Shawn is hands-down the best cat sitter we’ve ever had. We travel frequently and Shawn has been our only pet sitter since we moved to Goodyear three years ago. She has cared for them for both long and short trips. Shawn‘s ability to connect with cats is unbelievable. Even our freddy cat loves her and will come out to see her. My husband jokes that our cats like Shawn more than us. We have three geriatric cats with health problems and Shawn has pampered and cared for all of them. She has managed insulin for our cat with diabetes as well as making sure our cat with kidney disease has been well cared for. Without reservation, I recommend Shawn for your beloved cats.

Finding the right person to take care of our pets is a top priority. We found Desert Whiskers when our previous cat sitter moved away unexpectedly, leaving us with vacation plans, but no one to take care of our fur-babies. Shawn was able to smoothly step into the role, making sure everyone was fed, loved and played with. She even sends pictures after each visit! It is so great to have someone we trust when we are gone. I would highly recommend her for anyone’s cats.

It was a nice feeling leaving my animal's with Shawn. She felt comfortable about giving my 15 year old cat his insulin. And nice that she sent pictures of them when she went to care for them. She is very capable and reliable. And I will be asking her to take care of them on my next vacation!

Shawn is such an amazing cat sitter. Dexter absolutely loves her,
and I honestly won’t use anyone else at this point. She’s also been
super flexible whenever my travel plans change, which has been
a lifesaver. She sends me tons of cute photos and a daily update,
and even though I still miss my little guy, it makes me so happy to
see him having a good time with her.
When Shawn is watching Dexter, I don’t worry about him at all. I know he’s in good hands and that she’ll take care of anything if something comes up. Highly recommend!

Shawn is absolutely wonderful and I am beyond grateful to have found her. We relocated from another state a matter of weeks before we left for vacation, and I was in a panic trying to sort out care for our cats, especially since I’ve had questionable experiences in the past. Shawn was super accommodating, kind, and helpful, and I felt confident trusting her to care for the crew after our meet and greet. She sent so many photos and communicated daily on how the kitties were doing, and brought us a fountain! Our shy little girl even finally came out to play, which was such a treat because she hides 99% of the time. I am relieved that our new home will still be in her service area because I will absolutely continue to have her watch our kitties. 10/10 would highly recommend!

I have used Desert Whiskers cat sitting for a few years now and highly recommend them!! Anytime I leave for a vacation, I rest easy knowing my pets are safe and will be well cared for. Shawn’s great with my pets and they are always happy to see her. She sends pictures of her visits so I get to “stay in touch”. Shawn continues to further her education with certifications around pet care as well which also puts me at ease knowing they are in good hands. I had a special needs kitty at one point and Shawn’s ability to assist with the extra needs and medication was amazing. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!!!

This is my first experience with a professional cat sitter and I could not have been more pleased!! Shawn was awesome! She texted me daily with pictures and updates and engaged in play and other enrichment like hiding treats and giving my cat time outside in her catio. I have used a website service once before and boarded Marley at someone's house and I was really disappointed in the end--the posting said the family did not have a dog and when I came to pick her up, I was greeted by a huge barking dog--Marley seemed completely worn out. I decided I just can't trust those services and for her wellbeing, she is much better off at home, with her stuff and having someone trustworthy and awesome like Shawn to care for her. I returned to a happy cat! I would highly recommend Shawn and will use Desert Cat Whiskers again! Thank you Shawn!

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting is wonderful! Shawn is one of the best cat sitters we've ever had. She not only knows how to care for cats, she will go above and beyond for us and our kitties. If I have a special request, consider it done. The other thing that I love is that she reaches out to me after every visit giving me an update and sending me lots of photos.
