I'm committed to providing the best care for your cats.

These policies apply to all services and all clients, both new and current.

PET CARE AND PAYMENT

Cat care services are provided and charged per visit.

Please note that rates for future services are subject to change.

TIME OF PAYMENT

All cat sitting booking requests require a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit must be received no later than 3 days

after booking to confirm your reserved dates.

The remaining balance is due 7 days before the service begins.

Cash and personal checks may be left on the counter at the time of service.

Electronic payments must be paid in full 7 days before the start of service.

Payment for holiday bookings is due in full at the time of booking.

We do not accept postdated checks.

HOLIDAY RATES

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting will implement a holiday rate of 50% the standard regular rate per visit, applicable throughout the entire holiday season.

Holiday rates are applied on top of the regular service rate.

Holiday rates apply to all visits that fall within the defined holiday period, even if the booking spans multiple weeks.

Independance Day/Weekend - July (3rd to 7th)

Labor Day Weekend - September (Friday to Monday)

Thanksgiving - November (Monday to Sunday)

Christmas Season - December 19th to 30th)

New Years - December (31st to January 1st)

VISIT TIMES

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting uses a block schedule and will visit at the requested times as closely as possible. However, if caring for multiple cats, the times may be shifted to accommodate all clients.
*Cats requiring time-sensitive medication will be scheduled at set times.

Morning (8am - 10am)
Midday (10am - 1pm)
Afternoon (1pm-4pm)
Evening (4pm - 6pm)

Cat sitting visits are available 7 days a week, from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Office Hours: 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Closed Saturday and Sunday.

RESERVATIONS/BOOKINGS

A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to reserve a date and time for any services.

All clients, new and established, must pay a 50% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit.

For holiday bookings, a 100% non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required.

We recommend planning at least two weeks in advance... availability is not guaranteed.

We do not accept same-day requests from new clients.

All bookings are first-come, first-serve once the required deposit has been received.

We do not hold dates without a deposit and reserve the right to deny reservation requests.

LATE DEPARTURE/EARLY RETURN

Plans change, and we understand.

However, clients are responsible for the visits booked,

as that time is set aside exclusively for your cats. If travel is delayed, care will

continue beyond the scheduled end date,

and additional visits will be billed accordingly.

Please inform us as soon as possible of any changes to your return date.

CANCELLATIONS

Our cancellation policy applies to all services and all clients

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.
No refunds are issued unless the pet is deceased or Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting cancels the service.
Holiday bookings are non-refundable and non-eligible for credit.

NON-HOLIDAY VISITS

Once a deposit has been paid, cancellations for non-holiday services are non-refundable.

At Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting's discretion, a credit may be issued for future services for established clients with a history of timely payments and completed bookings.

Credits are valid for up to 90 days and are not guaranteed.

HOLIDAY VISITS

Holiday reservations require full payment at booking and are non-refundable and are non-transferable.

No credits are issued for holiday cancellations.

REFUNDS

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting does not issue refunds of any kind.

Exceptions may be made if your pet is deceased or Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting cancels the service.

Account credits, if issued, expire after 90 days.

Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting respects the trust our clients place in us when caring for their home and their beloved pets. We recommend informing a trusted neighbor Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting will be caring for your pets and home while you are away.
