We’re committed to providing the best care for your cats.
Our policies apply to all services and all clients, both new and established.
PET CARE AND PAYMENT
Our cat care services are provided and charged per visit.
Please note that rates for subsequent services are subject to change.

TIME OF PAYMENT
All cat sitting booking requests require a 50% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking. This deposit must be made no later than 3 days after booking to
confirm your reserved dates.
​The remainder of the payment is due 7 days before the service begins.
Cash and personal checks may be left on the counter at the time of service.
Electronic payments must be paid in full 7 days before the start of service.
​Payment for holiday bookings is due in full at the time of booking.
We do not accept postdated checks.
HOLIDAY RATES
Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting will implement a holiday rate of 50% the standard regular rate per visit, applicable throughout the entire holiday season.

- Friday: Regular rate + 50% holiday rate
-Saturday: Regular rate + 50% holiday rate
-Sunday: Regular rate + 50% holiday rate
- Monday (actual holiday): Regular rate + 50% holiday rate
​This applies even if the holiday period spans multiple weeks

Christmas Season - December 19th to 30th)
New Years - December (31st to January 1st)

**Major Holiday Rate**
An additional 50% rate non-refundable fee per visit applies to New Years Eve, New Years Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independance Day, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.
Holiday rates are applied on top of the regular service rate
VISIT TIMES
Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting uses a block schedule and will visit at the requested times as closely as possible. However, if caring for multiple cats, the times may be shifted to accommodate all clients.
*Cats requiring time sensitive medication will be seen at set times.

Cat sitting visits are available 7 days a week, from 7 AM to 7 PM.
Office Hours: 10 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday.
Closed Saturday and Sunday.

RESERVATIONS/BOOKINGS
A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve a date and time for any services.
All clients, new and established, must pay a 50% non-refundable deposit.
For holiday bookings, a 100% non-refundable deposit is required.
We recommend planning at least two weeks in advance. While we try to
accommodate last-minute requests, availability is not guaranteed.
We do not accept same-day requests from new clients.
All bookings are first-come, first-serve. We do not hold dates without a deposit and reserve the right to deny reservation requests.
LATE DEPARTURE/EARLY RETURN
Plans change, and we understand.
However, you are responsible for the visits booked,
as that time is set aside exclusively for your cats.
If delayed, care can usually be extended beyond the scheduled end date.
Please inform us as soon as possible.

CANCELLATIONS
Our cancellation policy applies to all services and all clients

No refunds unless the pet is deceased, or we cancel the service.

Cancellations 14+ days from the first visit will receive a credit for up to 90 days.

Cancellations within 14 days of service forfeit the deposit and any payments made.

Holiday bookings are non-refundable.​

​PET SITTING VISITS (Non-Holiday)
Cancellations must be made at least 14 days prior to receive credit.
Cancellations with less than 14 days' notice will be charged 100% of the booking.
HOLIDAY VISITS
Full payment is required at booking and is non-refundable.
We do not overbook during the holidays to ensure quality care.
WHY DO I HAVE A CANCELLATION POLICY?
Our cancellation policy ensures fairness to all clients. We book services weeks or months in advance, and cancellations mean lost income. This policy helps us prioritize clients serious about using our services.

REFUNDS
Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting does not issue refunds of any kind.
Exceptions may be made if your pet is deceased or Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting cancels.

Privacy Policy: All your information will be kept private and confidential.
Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting highly respects our clients' entrusting us with the care of their home and their loving pets. We do recommend that you inform a trusted neighbor that while you are away, that Desert Whiskers Cat Sitting will be caring for your pets and your home.
